This is the first rock encountered by Sojourner (on July 5 1997). Just near
the ramp, this image shows Sojourner getting ready to deploy the APXS on Barnacle Bill.
This is a color image constructed from the IMP camera. The picture here shows Sojourner near Barnacle Bill. It is interesting to point our here that you can
see the 3D approximation of Sojourner within the 3D model which was constructed
from this image.
